Streamstar launches Streamstar Mini Series

 

In July we had pleasure of introducing Streamstar’s 4 channel all IP live streaming production switcher. Following hot on the tails of the NDX and a further demonstrating Streamstar’s commitment to providing innovative solutions to all streaming requirements the Streamstar Mini series is now shipping!

Streamstar X2mini is aimed at small sport clubs and micro producers in the sports segment

Streamstar NDXmini is aimed at small education, churches and small event production

Both are based on micro PC chassis and offer dual 720/50p NDI inputs with NDI and RTMP outputs. The significant difference between the two is the time/score with sports replay and slo-mo facilities on the X2mini. This in itself is a significant step to bring sports replay to everyone. 

Streamstar have also released version 7.3  for the following license based options for the Streamstar X-series G2, Streamstar-IPX and Streamstar-NDX.

New Features include:

• SRT Support
• SCENE MANAGER complex automation of various actions at the same time (similar to macros) allowing you to run an entire show by clicking on one button and the system fires all the layers and selected scenes. Additional license option.
• RTMP input server Streamstar unit scan act like a server and receive RTMP inputs. Additional license option.

These two new mini additions to the Streamstar portfolio really demonstrate how important live streaming is becoming to more people and how Streamstar wish to support a wider user base. Being all NDI and with PTZ control they have lowered the technical barrier for setting up a live production environment.
