In my last VR article, titled “VR – a more immersive rabbit hole” I discussed whether or not it would be fair to describe this emerging technology as a fad and summarily decided that, owing in no small part to the corporations invested in its growth, it is not. I explored VR from a bird’s eye view, reviewing the companies who had already invested (FaceBook, Valve, HTC and, of course, Oculus) and potential growth areas. This article will look more specifically at the creative process behind VR and what VR could achieve beyond being just another way to experience entertainment.
