Haivision is a leading global provider of mission-critical, real-time video streaming solutions. Their connected cloud and intelligent edge technologies enable organisations to engage audiences through the live stream of events (sports, news, theatre and corporate events).
Their solutions connect the world with real-time video by providing high quality, low latency, secure and reliable live stream on a global scale. Haivision are responsible for bringing its award-winning SRT low latency video streaming protocol and technology stack to the world, which has done more for contribution and distribution than any other transport type. Haivision founded the SRT Alliance and made SRT an open-source protocol to support its adoption.
“We are excited to announce our partnership with Tyrell. With a well-established reputation for its deep broadcast expertise, Tyrell is a trusted media technology advisor and partner to its customers,” said Peter Gambirasio, VP Sales, Europe at Haivision. “We look forward to working together to deliver the latest in high quality, low latency video solutions from Haivision to broadcasters and media organizations across the UK and Ireland.”
“Haivision have been leading the way in providing encoding solutions that have made them trusted partners for both broadcasters and government agencies. Through their product development and mission to bring to market low latent solutions, they invented and shared SRT (Secure Reliable Transport) as an open-source protocol. This clearly demonstrates their values of openness and collaboration,” commented Dan Muchmore, Sales & Marketing Director at Tyrell. “For Tyrell, Haivision are an exciting addition to our portfolio and strengthens our goal of supporting customers in their IP transformation for remote production (live and post) and distribution to the cloud, which we hope will provide further value to our customers.”
