Tyrell work with Specialist AV to completely transform working practices
For almost twenty years now, Tyrell have been working with leading global suppliers to provide customers with innovative and pioneering solutions to their media production challenges. By understanding the industry, sourcing cutting-edge products and really getting to know the market and their customers, Tyrell have established themselves as the leading media technology partner – with a reputation to match.
Specialist AV, brought in Tyrell to transform working practices. Ireland’s leading video capture, conversion and mastering company has, since 2001, led the market in the supply of video services to many of the best known companies across the TV, post production, PR and music world including Virgin Media, Diageo, INTO and Daniel O’Donnell. In order to keep up with demand, Specialist AV needed centralised storage, additional ingest capability and an asset management system which would allow them to manage archive and share it with clients.
Specialist AV asked and Tyrell delivered a solution to meet all their needs. XStream EFS 200, Geevs HDP2/2 Broadcast Server and Flow Media asset management was brought in. Geevs now provides 4 channels of SD or HD I/O enabling multiple ingest of files at the same time and Flow allows them to expand the services they offer by being able to monetise holding material for clients. It also gives them the tools to store and locate material more efficiently and the facilities to share it with clients in a simple, no-fuss way.
“By bringing in Tyrell and their EditShare solution we have managed to completely transform working practices and really optimise our expertise and our output. The service we received from Tyrell was second to none and the feedback from production teams and customers has been fantastic.”
With Tyrell’s help, Specialist AV can now continue to deliver their promise of having the technology and the expertise to capture, convert, master, archive or upscaled video across Ireland and beyond for many years to come.
