We are delighted to announce the expansion of the team, with the appointment of Simon Wocka as Account Manager, based in the UK. The appointment of Simon reflects our continued growth strategy with client success at the core of our business.
Simon brings a wealth of experience from his 19 years in the media and entertainment industry. He started his career behind the camera working on various shows including some Henson Productions, as well as high profile BBC entertainment shows including, Strictly Come Dancing and How Do you Solve a Problem like Maria. From there Simon held account management roles at Proactive, Boxer Systems and more recently as Regional Sales Manager at Telestream for the UK, Ireland, Nordics and South Africa. A position he held for the last 4 years. During his time at Telestream Simon helped enterprise clients with cloud-based applications from traditional QC and transcoding through to more complex monitoring applications.
“I am delighted to be joining Tyrell and to be back working alongside my old colleague, Nick Soper. My enterprise experience and product knowledge will help to broaden Tyrell’s approach in the market, which will ultimately help serve our customers better,” commented Simon. “I am really impressed by Tyrell’s cloud service and how we can provide a variety of solutions and services for those looking to migrate to the cloud but need the complexity removed and a more simplified approach. Tyrell have done a fantastic job of building the story so far and I look forward to being part of the team as we continue to evolve our offering to better serve the media and entertainment community”.
“We are delighted that Simon has joined Tyrell,” commented Dan Muchmore, Sales and Marketing Director at Tyrell. “His experience, credibility and creativity with customers perfectly aligns with Tyrell’s core values. Simon joins us at a time when we are seeing more customers migrating to the cloud and he recognises the value that Tyrell offers over our competition. It’s great that he wants to be part of where we are headed and can see that we are ahead of the innovation curve in the market.”
