tyrell Animation Competition
To celebrate the fact that we are turning 20 this November and that we are the premier reseller for Wacom in Ireland, we thought it would be a bit of fun to run an animation competition with some fantastic prizes provided by Wacom for the winners.
The brief for the competition is simple (or we think that it is). We want you to submit a creation that celebrates the fact that Tyrell is turning 20 in November. There are 3 categories for the competition which are still graphic, 3D animation – up to 10 secs, 2D animation – up to 10 secs. You can enter one category or all three if you want but you will only be eligible for one prize.
We will provide you with the various Tyrell logos and graphics that we have created over the last 20 years to give you some inspiration (if you want to use them). But other than that you are free to use your imagination and be as creative as you wish – within the guidelines of decency!
Now to the exciting part- the prizes! The 1st prize is a Wacom Cintiq 22” tablet worth €950, with 2 runner up prizes of a Wacom Cintiq 16” tablet worth €550. Pretty impressive we have to say!
To enter the competition, simply enter your details below agreeing to the T&C’s. You will then be taken to a landing page, where you can download the graphics that we have created over the last 20 years to give you some inspiration.
Once you have finished your creation please submit it via Twitter tagging @TyrellCCT and using the hashtag #Tyrell202020. All entries must be submitted by midnight on 13th November 2020.
The shortlist of entries will be released on 20th November and the winner and runner ups announced on 30th November 2020.

Competition T&C’s:
- Competition is open to residents of Ireland and Northern Ireland only.
- You must be over the age of 18 to enter.
- The 1st prize is a Wacom Cintiq 22” tablet with two runner up prizes of Wacom Cintiq 16” tablet.
- There are no cash alternatives to the prizes that are being offered.
- The judges decisions are final.
- The three categories for the competition are: still graphic, 3D animation – up to 10 secs, 2D Animation – up to 10 secs
- By entering the competition, you allow Tyrell and Wacom to publish your entries on their website, social marketing channels and in other marketing materials including company newsletters.
- All entries must be the work of the individual entering the competition and royalty free.
- All entries must be submitted by midnight on 13th November 2020. With the winners announced by 30th November 2020.
- To enter the competition, you must complete the registration form below and submit your entry via Twitter by tagging @tyrellcct and using the hashtag #Tyrell202020
- All entries must not be offensive – if they are they will automatically be disqualified.
