Blackmagic Design has established itself as a high quality innovative brand over the years. They have such an interesting product line from the rock solid I/O options to the simple to use ATEM studio production switchers.

This year at IBC their big announcement was for the  Ultimatte 12.

Ultimatte has been around a long time (over 40 years) but Blackmagic acquired the company over a year ago and has been hard at work to achieve this new product which meets the customers expectations both on a technology and a cost level.

AJA Video Systems has built a well deserved reputation for delivering high quality reliable products over the years.

Its hard to find a broadcaster that doesn’t utilize some of their products which is testament to the engineering gone into them. This work ethic continues to show at IBC 2017 as AJA seem to have a huge number of announcements. Lots to be excited by, most notably I think the partnership with Avid on the DNxIV Hardware Interface.
