Cinedeck, who are well known for their ingest/playout servers and file insert edit capabilities have come to market with a new solution for cloud based production. Instead of using accelerated file transfer solutions to move content to cloud storage, Cinedeck’s Capture2Cloud solution takes a SRT or NDI feed and transcodes the growing file to create a high-res mezzanine file per channel of recording, as well as a H.264 proxy. All in an easy to use, intuitive user interface.
