London: 25th August, 2011: Tyrell CCT, a leading creative technology solutions provider for the broadcast and post production industry, today announced the appointment of Ian Foster as Technical Support Engineer. Based in Tyrell CCT’s Soho office, Ian brings valuable post industry knowledge and technical experience to the role. In his new position Ian will have responsibility for technical support and pre-sales activities, including system installation, repair, maintenance and upgrades.
Ian has joined Tyrell CCT from Altered Images where he held the position of support engineer for five years.

The competition was a great success and we were really delighted with the huge interest, large number and high quality of entries. The winners were recently presented with their prizes at an award ceremony in The Dandelion Bar in Dublin. Dublin, June 24th, 2011: Tyrell CCT today announced that the company has provided complete post production workflow solutions to leading Irish facilities Yellow Moon and Screen Scene for the sensational HBO series Game of Thrones. The medieval fantasy epic was filmed on location in Northern Ireland and in the Paint Hall Studio, Belfast, with Yellow Moon and Screen Scene responsible for post producing and finishing. The solutions for this high-end production included Avid editing, finishing and audio post production systems, storage solutions from Avid, Facilis & Rorke Data and archiving systems from Cache-A.
London, May 20th, 2011 – Tyrell CCT, leading supplier of digital media solutions, today announced that the company has been appointed by top UK facility, ENVY, to provide Avid systems for the facility’s new offline studio due to open in August 2011. The new solutions form part of a ¬£2m expansion that sees ENVY almost doubling the size of its Rathbone Place premises from 15,000 sq ft to 25,000 sq ft and adding 18 more offline suites bringing the total to 75 AVID rooms, including Margaret Street and Foley Street.
